Deputy Chief Minister Nicole Manison said she was feeling “really positive” with the results so far in her electorate of Wanguri.
Counting so far has shown she is in the lead with 69.6 per cent of the votes counted so far in her favour.

At this point in time Ms Manison, the Labor candidate has 642 votes with Country Liberal’s Jed Hansen behind her with 324, so far 16.3 per cent of the ballots have been counted.
“I’m feeling really positive, my early vote results were just fantastic,” she said.
“I am so happy to be returned to your seat (of Wanguri) for a third time in the community you grew up in, the community where you are raising your own family and the community that you absolutely love, is just the most amazing privilege and honour so I am over the moon about being returned as a member for Wanguri tonight.”
