INDEPENDENT MLA Yingiya Mark Guyula says rumours circulating that he plans to step down are not true.
The Member for Mulka posted an message on his official MLA Facebook page last night which implied that he could “step down.”
But Mr Guyula told the NT News this morning that he was not stepping down and had simply posted the message when he was very upset last night.
“I just got upset my son (was) bashed on the head very badly, my nephew also had his jaw smashed, so felt like stepping down but I’m OK now,” he said.
