A FLIGHT crew member has been slapped with a COVID-19 fine after he was found breaching quarantine arrangements in Darwin.
Police alleged the 33-year-old man, an airline employee, had arrived in Darwin from Dili and was directed to get a COVID-19 test and self-isolate.

He was allowed to go to work if rostered but was otherwise ordered to remain in self-isolation.
Police then received information that the man was leaving his accommodation.
An investigation later uncovered that the man was not rostered to work when this happened and he was handed a fine.
