A 17-YEAR-OLD has been rushed to hospital after being injured in a single-vehicle rollover in the Darwin rural area.
St John Ambulance Regional Manager Andrew Everingham said paramedics were called to a single-vehicle rollover on Whitewood Rd in Howard Springs at about 9am on Monday.
“The vehicle has left the road and ended up in a culvert, and it’s rolled,” he told the ABC.
“There was a 17-year-old male who was transported with minor injuries thankfully to Royal Darwin Hospital.”
St John Ambulance crews also took a 72-year-old man was to Royal Darwin Hospital in a separate incident on Monday afternoon.

Mr Everingham said the man had sustained “nasty lacerations” to his hands from a model helicopter injury at the East Port aerodrome.
