POLICE are still searching for a number of offenders believed to have been involved in a break-in at Palmerston overnight.
Northern Watch Commander Siiri Tennosaar said police responded to the incident in Durack on Thursday night.

“Police are appealing for witnesses after a break in at an educational premises on University Ave in Durack overnight,” she said.
“Police were alerted to reports of intruders on the premises at around 9.45pm (Thursday night).”
Snr Sgt Tennosaar said one person had been arrested but police were still looking for a number of others involved in the break-in.
“Upon attendance a 14-year-old male was apprehended fleeing from the location whilst in possession of stolen property items from inside the venue,” she said.
“Preliminary investigations indicate multiple offenders had been in the premises after kicking in a glass panel of an external door to gain entry.”
The 14-year-old will be assessed for youth diversion.
