NT Education and Care Awards finalists revealed

The Territory’s ‘high calibre’ of teachers is reflected in this year’s Education and Care Awards. See all the finalists.

The Territory’s top teachers have been named as the NT Education and Care Awards finalists are revealed.

Education NT chief executive Karen Western said the nominees from urban and remote schools reflect the Territory’s high calibre of teachers.

“Nominations from both urban and remote locations in the NT reflects the outstanding quality of education and care that is being delivered to our children and their families right across the Territory,” she said.

Education Minister Eva Lawler congratulated the 2023 finalists and nominees.

“We know the first few years of a child’s life is vital to their future,” she said in a statement.

“Soon we will celebrate our early childhood and care educators who work so very hard to nurture and provide positive learning experiences to those who mean the most to us.

“As Minister for Education, I thank all of you for your ongoing commitment – you make an immeasurable difference to the lives of our children and their families.”

Winners will be announced on September 22.
