The six-year-old boy died at the scene of a crash on Towamba Rd at Nullica, 10km from Eden in the state’s south, after the ute he had been travelling in collided with a truck.
Two other passengers in the dual-cab ute - girls aged three and eight - were injured and taken to hospital along with the driver, a man aged in his 30s.

The man suffered multiple injuries, including to his legs, and was taken to Westmead Hospital.
