Man, 40, dies after being struck by car in Barrack Heights in Shellharbour
A 40-year-old pedestrian has died after he was hit by a car in Barrack Heights on Sunday night.

A man has died after he was hit by a car south of Sydney.
Emergency services were called to Shellharbour Rd in Barrack Heights shortly before 7.30pm on Sunday after reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.
Police officers arrived at the scene along with paramedics, who treated the 40-year-old man for critical injuries.
Despite their efforts, he died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 28-year-old man, was taken to Shellharbour Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident has commenced.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
