Firearm seized, teen arrests made as 10 charged during police blitz targeting youth crime across regional NSW
Ten people have been charged with more than 30 offences following a three day police blitz targeting youth crime in regional New South Wales.

A police blitz on youth crime has resulted in 10 people being charged with 32 offences in regional NSW.
Operation Soteria, which ran from April 10 to 12, focused on the state’s Central West and Northern regions.
As part of the crackdown, police were called to Leifermann Street, Condobolin, about 10am on April 12, after reports a firearm had been discharged from a vehicle.
A 20-year-old man being arrested at a home on Kookaburra St, Parkes, later that day.
He was taken to Parkes police station and charged with a string of offences, including five counts of stalking or intimidation; two counts of possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm; firing a firearm in or near a public place; being carried in a stolen vehicle; and drug possession.
He was refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court April 13.
In a separate incident officers arrest an 18-year-old woman at a home in Orange on two outstanding warrants.
She was taken to Orange Police Station and charged before facing a children’s court the following day, where she was refused bail and is expected to reappear on April 15.
Later that same evening, around 10.30pm, police stopped a 15-year-old boy riding a pushbike on Bletchington St in Orange, where following a search uncovered a knife in his possession.
He was arrested and taken to Orange police station, where he was charged with custody of a knife in a public place.
The teen was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in court on 19 May 2025.
Investigations under Operation Soteria are ongoing.
