Multiple people have been shot, including several dead, after gunmen opened fire at Bondi Beach.

Police have confirmed there were multiple shooters, indicating it is likely an organised terror attack.

Police have confirmed 12 people are dead.

A massive police and ambulance response is underway with beachgoers and diners at restaurants seen running for their lives, as the shots rang out about 6.40pm.

Video shows at least two gunmen, standing on a footbridge connecting Campbell Parade to the Bondi Pavilion, firing shots into a crowd.
