WORLD renowned whip maker Mick Denigan is about to launch his latest cracking idea, opening a Whip Museum and virtual whip crackers club on Wednesday.
Mr Denigan, who has made whips for US presidents and cracked a whip during the 2000 Symmer Olympics in Sydney opening ceremony, said he hoped the new $20,000 venture would whip up a storm.

“When the COVID thing happened, I realised I had to start planning future,” he said, explaining that he hoped the new venture at his Fly Creek homestead would hopefully lure domestic tourists.
“So we’re launching a whip cracking club … which is structured in the same way as martial arts clubs.”
The World Wide Whip Crackers Club will be free for people all over the world to join, with participants beginning at ‘white belt’ and finishing as a ‘black belt whip cracker.’
