THE Northern Territory is experiencing some unusual wet weather this week as rain falls in the south and the north, bringing some humidity during the dry season.
Alice Springs and surrounds received 8mm in 24 hours to 9am Wednesday, while Yulara received 10mm.
Darwin residents were also surprised with a drizzle overnight, but it wasn’t enough to be recorded by the weather bureau.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, there is a medium chance of a few more millimetres on Thursday and Friday before skies clear up again on the weekend.
