WHEN the best man yelled “snake!” after the ceremony he wasn’t suggesting the groom needed to zip up his fly.
Luis Floeck, 26, lived up to the role of best man at Luke and Emma Sharp’s wedding when he spotted a docile water python hanging out in the back of the Chevrolet wedding vehicle.
“It was just a shock to see a 1.5m snake in the car,” Mr Floeck said. “I thought someone was playing a trick with a fake snake but then I went to grab it and it moved.”
The bridal party had been cruising in the reptile’s makeshift home all day.
They were at East Point having the wedding photos snapped when the sneaky snake decided he’d had enough of being ignored.

The rear seat of the Chevy Bel Air had to be removed to let the sneaky snake out.
It was released into the wild – after a few happy snaps.
“We got a few photos with it – it’s obviously what the snake wanted,” Mr Floeck said.
“It was just another highlight of the day.”
Mr Floeck suspected the python had been enjoying a back seat view of the festivities before sliding out.
“Luckily nothing happened when we were driving,” he said.
“The girls were screaming when we spotted him.”
The newly weds are spending their honeymoon on Crab Claw Island.
