POLICE have charged three men over an alleged bungled burglary in Alice Springs in January.
An NT Police spokeswoman said the trio was arrested after allegedly forcing their way into a business on Gap Rd on January 31 and damaging a restaurant’s sliding door.

“The activation of a security alarm disturbed the trio who fled the area empty-handed,” she said.
“Investigations by Strike Force Viper have led to the identification and subsequent arrested of the three men in Alice Springs this month.”

The three men, aged 18, 26 and 28, were each charged with two counts of criminal damage and unlawful entry and are due to face court at a later date.
The 26-year-old was remanded in custody while the other two men were granted bail.
