A HIGH-FLYING financial adviser is on trial in the NT Supreme Court charged with importing cocaine to the value of $60,000 from the US to Alice Springs.
Harris Shortland appeared at the Alice Springs Supreme Court on Monday, accused of sending three packages from Los Angeles to an Alice Springs postbox, amounting to 120g of the substance.
Shortland has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The charges carry a maximum sentence of 25 years behind bars.
The trial is expected to last two weeks.
