A toddler is among five new Covid-19 cases recorded in the Territory, all from a recent repatriation flight.

A TODDLER is among five new Covid-19 cases recorded in the Territory, all from a repatriation flight from India.

The cases arrived on the flight from New Delhi on July 26. They are two women aged 31 and 35, two men aged 36 and 35, and an 18-month-old toddler.

All are displaying mild symptoms.

Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began in last year, 135 people have tested positive for Covid-19 out of 10,495 international arrivals.

The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 198.

There are currently seven active cases in the Territory.
