Today Show touring the NT to spotlight the Territory’s best tourism experiences

SOME of the NT’s top tourist destinations will feature on the Today Show this week as weather host Tim Davies shows viewers around the Territory as part of Tourism Australia and Tourism NT’s Holiday Here This Year campaign.
Davies will be beaming live weather crosses from a range of Territory locations all week, and has already been to Katherine and Kakadu.
He was in Darwin today visiting locations including the Darwin Waterfront, Crocosaurus Cove and Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruise, before heading to Alice Springs on Thursday and Uluru on Friday.
Today Show entertainment reporter Brooke Boney will also showcase a ‘travel tapes’ segment focusing on the nature and wildlife of Nitmiluk Gorge and Litchfield National Park on the program all week.

Tourism NT deputy chief executive Andrew Hopper said the campaign would provide a much-needed boost to Territory tourism operators, accommodation providers and local businesses.
“With the Territory open to visitors nationwide it’s important to be front and centre in promoting a holiday here this year,” he said.
