IF you thought it was just a myth you can now start believing —Krispy Kreme is coming to Darwin and the signs have gone up to prove it.
And better yet it’s not just going to be an outlet, it is going to be a factory outlet just like our southern counterparts love and adore.
So soon you can forget about all that Krispy Kreme carry-on when you are on a plane returning to Darwin you’ll be able to head out to the factory store alongside the Gateway shopping centre at Palmerston.
The site plan shows that the drive-through would be attached to a new BP service station and car wash on the corner of Roystonea Avenue and Gateway Road in Yarrawonga.
The Krispy Kreme facility is integrated with and located within the same building, and includes a production area, retail area and drive-through service lane and window.
The development plan includes space for 35 car parks, and a drive-through lane with space for 10 vehicles.
