THE truth is out there. And “there” is somewhere in Litchfield National Park on the Batchelor side of Florence Falls.
The truth is two green lights in the sky above a photo of teenagers in the tray of a four-wheel-drive taken on the side of the road in the national park.
What are they? Jaden Marsh, 16, of Karama is in the photo and he said his mind had wandered to the possibility of aliens. His mum Allittial Marsh alerted NT News to the photos.
While there is no solid evidence for an intergalactic kidnap theory, it is the dry season and green lights are the intergalactically recognised symbol of aliens.

And last week the NT News did report an unidentified flying object in the shape of a flying saucer, hovering above the shoulder of newsreader Jonathan Uptin on Nine News on Thursday night. He was mysteriously absent from the news on Monday and Tuesday nights. Nine News assured NT News Uptin was on holidays but it seems to be an amazingly large coincidence.
A Nine News source said it was not known if Uptin was abducted by aliens or on a golf trip. “I can’t be sure. I haven’t seen any pics of him on the golf course but I also haven’t seen a pic of him with ET,” the insider said.
Mr Marsh said they had taken a mate’s new ute for a spin when he wanted to stop for a durry about 6.30pm on Sunday.
“And in the background I saw that (the lights). I thought it was a bit weird,” he said.
“Mum was only telling me not long ago about Nine News and there was a UFO in the background.

“So I thought it could have been something like that.
“Half of ’em (his mates) were like ‘What the f**k?’ and half of ’em were like, ‘I don’t think that’s anything’, because they’re stubborn.
“After the photo got taken we all looked behind to see if there anything like a plane, but there was only stars and I’m pretty sure stars can’t turn green.
“The photos were taken like a second apart. And they scrolled across and you see it get further away.
“Mum was the one who told me about the UFOs on Nine News and asked if it could be that.
“We kind of took off not too long after … we were just spun out.”
