FLEDGLING party Territory Alliance has confirmed it will not contest the bush seats of Mulka and Arnhem, bolstering the chances of independent MLA Yingiya Mark Guyula.
The party this week, following the exit of two candidates, announced it was seeking people to run in a dozen seats.

But in an advertisement yesterday, the seats of Arnhem and Mulka (Nhulunbuy) were left off.
Territory Alliance leader Terry Mills confirmed this was because he had made the decision not to run candidates in those seats.

Mr Mills declined to elaborate but it is understood the decision was to honour an agreement he brokered with Mr Guyula when the pair and MLA Robyn Lambley attempted to seize opposition status as an independent pack.
