THREE Alice Springs friends have claimed a top prize in the latest Lotto draw.
The private syndicate won a share in almost $320,000, along with 17 other division one winners.
The leader of the group, who wish to remain anonymous, said the win had been a long time coming., but something he thought would happen one day.
“It’s a fantastic feeling. We’re all just very excited to have won,” he said.
“I’ve got a little bit of a boost heading into work this morning.
He said the win would help take some financial strain from his life.
“The win is going to make life a lot easier — I’ll pay off my debts and become freer, financially,” he said.
“We’re just so thankful.”
The ticket was sold at The Paper Shoppe, at the Yeperenye Shopping Centre in Alice Springs.
