THERE’S something magical about the beaming faces of our young school students as they begin their first year.

Nightcliff Primary School is one of the schools participating in the NT News’ My First Year liftout in 2020.

THERE’S something magical about the beaming faces of our young school students as they begin their first year.

My First Year, a special commemorative liftout from the NT News has become an institution in the Northern Territory.

This year, we are again offering our digital subscribers an advance view of what will be published on September 22.

beautiful smiling faces of our Transition students.

My First Year will feature students from dozens classes from more than 70 schools across the Territory.

Marrara Christian College is also taking part in the liftout.

While parents will be able to see their children’s faces in our online galleries, we know they will want the printed edition of the paper as well on September 22.

We’ll be printing hundreds of extra copies of the paper for the day, as many parents like to get copies for grandparents and as a memento to dig out for 18th and 21st birthday parties.
