POLICE were kept busy across Alice Springs and the Barkly on Sunday night with seven alleged break-ins across the regions.
NT Police Southern Watch Commander, Josh Cunningham, said from about 8pm to 12am in Alice Springs police responded to five alleged break-ins in Alice Springs and two commercial break-ins in Tennant Creek.

Cdr Cunningham said a good number of general duty officers and Viper officers were on patrol which “prevented any other disturbances or other unlawful entries after midnight”.
One youth is in custody in Alice Springs who is expected to face charges of unlawful entry and stealing.
