INDEPENDENT Goyder MLA and former Speaker Kezia Purick has confirmed she will contest the upcoming election.
Ms Purick resigned as Speaker this morning after a scathing 9-month Independent Commissioner against Corruption investigation found she had engaged in corrupt conduct.
She had yet to outline her plans for the seat.
But at the end of a short speech about the government’s tougher firearms legislation being taken back to the drawing board, Ms Purick said she “wouldn’t give up” lobbying to prevent tougher restrictions on gun owners and shooters.
