Reports of body in the water reported at Monday midday
Police are investigating a suspected drowning after a man’s body was spotted in the water at midday.

THE body of a 60-year-old man has been recovered after a suspected drowning near Stokes Hill Wharf.
NT Police received a report of a body in the water about 11.45am on Monday.
Witnesses say the man dived from a boat to recover a dinghy but got into difficulty and drowned before he could be rescued.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
