Repatriated Aussie in NT quarantine tests positive to COVID-19
A WOMAN in her 30s who arrived in Darwin from overseas has tested positive to COVID-19 despite being asymptomatic, bringing the total number of active cases in the NT to 13.

A WOMAN in her 30s who arrived in Darwin from overseas has tested positive to COVID-19 despite being asymptomatic, bringing the total number of active cases in the NT to 13.
The 37-year-old woman arrived on the repatriation flight from Frankfurt on Sunday and tested positive in the subsequent 24 hours.
According to the NT Government, the woman is asymptomatic and is under the care of the AUSMAT team at the NT Centre for National Resilience.
Since repatriation flights started in the NT, 2384 people have completed quarantine in the Howard Springs facility and a total of 48 positive COVID-19 cases have been recorded.
It comes after eight people in the NT tested positive to the virus over the long weekend, including seven from repatriation flights and one who was isolating on board the Diamantina livestock export ship.

Health Minister Natasha Fyles yesterday said that the ship remains in the Darwin Harbour, with the Health Department “heavily involved” in any plans for the ship to move on.
