Last week an email to staff, obtained by the NT News, read:
“After many months of work across the university it is anticipated we will be ready to release a change proposal to unify VET and HE across all campuses next week.
“This work has been done at the direction of CDU Council to repair the budget and position CDU on a sustainable path towards growth.
“Once the change proposal has been released there will be a period of three weeks’ communication and consultation with all staff and the collation of feedback and input regarding the change proposal.”

Initial cuts to VET were proposed in October 2019, however they were put on hold and resumed earlier this year.
