POLICE are expecting to arrest several youths after a rampage through a Katherine school on Thursday night.

Authorities have already arrested one youth in relation to the incident, which resulted in damage being inflicted on several blocks of the St Joseph’s Catholic College.

The ordeal began at around 8pm last night.

Superintendent Craig Garland said police investigations were continuing into the ordeal.

“A 15-year-old youth has been arrested in relation to the offending and the additional three youths have been identified and are expected to be arrested today,” Superintendent Garland said.

“It is extremely disappointing that these youths have no regard for the staff and students at the school and have caused substantial damage for absolutely no reason.”
