A woman has tragically died in a single vehicle crash. NT police were called to the scene when a motorist reported seeing a car off the side of the road.

A WOMAN has died in a single vehicle crash in Alice Springs.
About 11.30am today a motorist reported a vehicle in scrub land off the Tanami Road, 20km from the Stuart Highway intersection.
The woman, believed to be the only one in the vehicle, died at the scene.
Detectives from the Major Crash Investigation Unit are part of the team investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
