POLICE have seized 600g of cannabis and 1000 empty clip seal bags destined for an indigenous community.
On Wednesday police were screening at a Territory airport when drug detection dog Lena reacted to a woman’s suitcase. Police found cannabis and 1000 empty clip seal bags.

During the screening of a second flight, drug detection dog Rafa responded to three items of luggage. A number of packages were concealed inside items throughout the luggage.
In total police seized 600g of cannabis.
The women were given notices to appear for the supply of cannabis to an indigenous community.

Both women will appear in the local court on January 19, 2021.
