THE Territory’s biggest music festival BASSINTHEGRASS has announced its epic line-up for 2021 after being pushed back this year due to COVID-19.
Huge acts that were locked in to perform at the festival in 2020 before it was postponed will be back when BASSINTHEGRASS returns to Mindil Beach on May 15 next year.

This includes Peking Duk, The Rubens, Violent Soho, Missy Higgins, Thelma Plum, The Jungle Giants, Boo Seeka, Illy, ChillinIT, Hayden James, Jack River and Safia.
There have also been some exciting new names added to the 2021 line-up like the DMA’S, G Flip, Lime Cordiale and Ocean Alley.
Lead guitarist of The Jungle Giants, Cesira Aitken, said she was looking forward to the band’s first-ever performance in the NT.
“It’ll be a special time after such a weird year, we can’t wait!” she said.
Michael May from Boo Seeka said BASSINTHEGRASS was easily one of Sydney band’s favourite festivals and they were looking forward to returning.
“Darwin is such an awesome place, and we’re both really looking forward to playing for fans at Mindil Beach next year in May,” he said.
Territory artists will also take to the stage, offering an incredible opportunity for local musos.

People who purchased their tickets for 2020 have automatically secured their spot at next year’s event.
Limited general admission tickets are available for $105 until February 1 (unless sold out prior), when final release tickets will go on sale for $120.
