THE NT News’ search to find the Territory’s quirkiest number plate of 2020 has been fiercely competitive, but it’s a 16-year-old P-plate driver who has finished ahead of the pack.
Nicholas Glazbrook’s number plates reading CTDUMMY – which stands for ‘crash test dummy’ – has taken out the NT News’ online poll with a total of 28 votes.

The Driver resident and SEDA student said the plates were a joking reminder from his dad about his first day as a licensed driver.
“The day I got my Ps, I was driving home from work and a brand new HiLux straight from the dealership hit me in the rear,” he said.
“(Later that day) my dad told me he had ordered me new number plates and told me what they were.
“I just laughed and said it was perfect for the little car … it’s been through quite a bit.”

Rounding out the poll’s top three were YEA NAH, which finished second with 16 votes, and ME DEAF in third on 14 votes.
The poll attracted 223 votes overall.
