THE crocodile man gets his crocodile news from, you guessed it, the NT News. Where else?
Darwin businessman and owner of three crocodile farms Mick Burns is an avid reader of the NT News, regardless of where he is each day.
“It’s always good to be abreast of your local town and what goes on in it,” he said.
“I have more of a focus on local news and the NT News covers the national and international headlines, too.”
Travelling to remote communities to help with problem crocodiles, Mr Burns is sometimes unable to get a physical copy of the paper.
In order to stay up-to-date, he checks the Digital Print Edition for the news.
“You get the full paper; you get all the ads, you get everything,” he said. “That’s the best way to see it, rather than just the individual stories.
“It’s just like getting the paper, but you can get it on your iPad or iPhone.”
However, a hard copy is always the go-to when he’s home. “When I’m in town I go to the Cav for breakfast each morning and read the paper.”
