NIGHTCLIFF Football Club will hold a high tea and auction tomorrow to raise money for the charity NT Breast Cancer Voice.

Senior coach Damian Hale said they had had training tops made with the names and ages of women diagnosed with cancer and those tops would be sold.

“On Sunday we will be having an auction and 50 per cent of the money will go to the charity and the rest will go back to paying for the shirts and into the club,” he said.

“One of the most prominent members of our club, Pam Watson, suffered from breast cancer and through a lot of hard work she has made us aware of breast cancer and we think it a good thing to raise money for as well as helping the club.

“We are going to auction the 25 warm-up shirts and a number of our senior players will be modelling with the shirts off so there will be a bit of muscle there for anyone interested.”

Tickets to the auction are $30, which also includes the high tea. to be held at the Nightcliff Sports Club from 10.30am.
