TERRITORIANS can splash, frolic and play in a new aqua park at Darwin Waterfront from Saturday.
The inflatable attraction from Aqua Park will open this Saturday and operate from 9am to 6pm daily, with up to 70 users per hour.
It replaces the Big Buoy Waterpark, which ceased operation earlier this year.

Darwin Waterfront Corporation general manager Sam Burke was overjoyed to provide a new attraction.
“The Darwin Waterfront Corporation is thrilled to welcome Aqua Park to our Recreation Lagoon,” he said.
“We know Territorians are loving ‘Holidays at Home’ and visitors continue to return to the NT, the Darwin Waterfront remains the destination to enjoy the best that Darwin has to offer for the whole family.”
All users will be required to follow COVID-19 safety measures, wear a life jacket, sign a waiver and complete a safety induction before entering the park.

Users will also be given a colour-coded wristband to identify their registration and age.
Tickets start at $20 per person, with discounts available for families and groups.
Children between six and nine-years-old need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
