“(Hairdressing) has changed my life totally, I’m a different person now,’ she said. “I love talking to people, I love to listen to them — they’re like my family, my clients.

Ms Sapkota said she took listening to her clients and their needs seriously, which allowed her to develop close relationships with her clients.

“You have to listen to them,” she said.

“That’s the most important part about being a hairdresser, listening to them then decide what’s the next step.”
