Watch Cmdr Pusterla said about 9.50pm police pulled over a station wagon on McMinns St in Darwin City to conduct a roadside breath test.
“The 31-year-old male driver had four adults sitting in the back seat, including one female that wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and she was allegedly holding an infant girl,” he said.
“Plus there was a female asleep in the load space of the wagon. He was arrested and taken to the police station for breath analysis and he has been charged with traffic offences including driving unlicensed and failing to supply a sufficient sample for a breath analysis.”
