A crew was sent to Katherine at lunchtime Monday to fly a 29-year-old man to Royal Darwin Hospital with injuries to his left leg, after he was gored by a bull.

The man had sustained a large laceration to his thigh, and arrived at RDH in a stable condition.

Meanwhile, another CareFlight team was tasked to the Coburg Peninsula where a man was stung by a box jellyfish.

The man had been walking in shallow water when he was stung to his foot and toe.

He arrived at Royal Darwin Hospital just before 7pm Monday in a stable condition.

Then at about 9.30pm, a couple in their 60s were flown from Katherine, after they were injured in a motor vehicle accident on the Victoria Highway, about 30km east of the Victoria River Roadhouse earlier in the day.

The woman had sustained head injuries and her husband was treated for suspected spinal injuries.
