A CREW member aboard a cattle export boat which arrived in Darwin on Sunday has tested positive for COVID-19.
The 25-year-old was on board the Diamantina cattle export vessel which arrived at the East Arm Wharf from Indonesia on Sunday night.
He tested positive on board the boat upon arrival into Darwin and is now in isolation at Royal Darwin Hospital.

He did not leave the ship prior to being admitted to RDH.
The majority of crew members have been transported to a separate section of the Howard Springs Quarantine Facility on Monday where they will undertake 14 days of mandatory supervised quarantine. None of them left the vessel.
Some crew members are required to remain on board the vessel in accordance with international maritime law.
Testing will be undertaken and they are required to stay on board in self-isolation.
The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 75. All cases have been related to international or interstate travel, with no cases of community transmission.

Strict protocols are in place for any ships arriving into the Northern Territory.
These protocols were put in place earlier this year to protect vital supply chains while keeping the community safe.
The Diamantina had previously docked in Panjang, Indonesia on December 8, in Fremantle on November 29 and Panjang again on November 20. The Diamantina is currently sailing under the flag of Singapore.
