Man charged with aggravated assault, being armed with an offensive weapon
A man has been charged with alleged trespassing following an incident last week, during which the residents restrained him.

A MAN has been charged with alleged trespassing and being armed with an offensive weapon following an incident last week.
The 33-year-old allegedly entered a property in Driver about 6pm on Friday while the occupants were home.
Two residents confronted the man and an altercation occurred, during which the occupants were able to restrain the man and hold him until police and St John Ambulance arrived.
The alleged offender was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital.

He has since been charged with aggravated assault, being armed with an offensive weapon, trespassing on an enclosed premises, unlawfully damaging property and resisting police in the execution of duty.
He was remanded to appear in court on Monday.
