UPDATE: Police have charged a 48-year old man following an alleged indecent assault at Casuarina yesterday afternoon.
He has been charged with gross indecency – child under 16-years-old.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on Thursday.
A 48-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested following the alleged indecent assault of a child at Casuarina yesterday.
Police said that at 4pm on Tuesday a woman left her vehicle briefly to go into a takeaway shop, briefly leaving her three children — aged eight and 18-month old twins — in the car.

When she returned to the vehicle she saw a man standing at the passenger side with his arm inside the vehicle.
Police said the older girl alleged the man had touched her inappropriately.
