A former soldier who served for 16 years with tours in East Timor and Afghanistan, Mr Brown said the day was special to him and so he developed the Digger Pale Ale.

The amber drink was created using Australian ingredients.
“It’s just a beer to celebrate Anzac Day so why not drink a beer made for a digger by a digger,” he said.
It’s the second year he has brewed the beer for Anzac Day.
“It was quite popular and we thought we’d being it back,” he said.
He said the pale ale took about a month to brew from making it to serving the beer today.
The beer will be available from today at Six Tanks Brew Pub, The Deck Bar, Lola’s Pergola and Bella Darwin Restaurant until sold out.
