TIME is running out for Territorians to make sure they’re correctly enrolled to vote in next month’s Local Government Elections.
NT Electoral Commissioner Iain Loganathan said the electoral roll would close at 5pm on Tuesday 27 July.
“I encourage all Territorians to ensure they are enrolled for their current address,” he said.
“It’s easy to enrol or update your enrolment online through the NTEC website so, there really is no excuse these days for not being on the roll.”
There were 133,927 electors enrolled to vote at the close of roll for the 2017 NT Local Government Elections.

Mr Loganathan said.
“Enrolment and awareness work has been well supported by the Your Voice, Your Community campaign undertaken by Local Government and Community Development officers in remote communities.”
