A MARRIED father-of-four who was found guilty of raping a stripper with the neck of a beer stubby during a dildo shooting demonstration will serve at least nine months in jail.

A MARRIED father-of-four who was found guilty of raping a stripper with the neck of a beer stubby during a dildo shooting demonstration will serve at least nine months in jail.

Kevin Glenn Willcocks, 41, was on Monday sentenced to three years and six months jail, suspended after nine months served.

Justice Dean Mildren said Willcocks knew he did not have permission to put the neck of his beer bottle in the woman’s vagina.

“There was no suggestion from anyone that you had permission to do this,” Justice Mildren said.

Justice Mildren said he could only infer Willcocks had “subconsciously buried” part of his memory of the night because he “did not want to face the reality” of what he did.

The woman’s victim impact statement said she became immediately distressed after the attack and became tearful on the way home before she called police.

“What you did to her changed her life,” Justice Mildren said.

“This has had a significant impact on her life and has clearly caused her a lot of misery.”

Justice Mildren said strippers were vulnerable workers who often worked without physical protection, performing for groups of drunken men.

He said until the assault, everyone else at the bucks party Willcocks was attending had been well behaved.

The woman had “motorboated” some of the men during a pub crawl on a bus before the before the show.

She had also removed her g-string to moon cars from the bus window of the bus she and the men were travelling in, and Justice Mildren said none of the men touched her without permission.

He said Willcocks was “being a larrikin and a show-off” when he removed a dildo from the woman and momentarily inserted the beer bottle.

Witnesses who gave character evidence for Willcocks described him as a jovial, hardworking family man and said they were surprised their mate had found himself on the wrong side of the law.

A dejected-looking Willcocks has been behind bars since Thursday, when a jury delivered a majority guilty verdict following just over a day of deliberations.
