POLICE are calling for witnesses after a business was allegedly robbed and an employee assaulted by two teens

POLICE are calling for witnesses after a Katherine business was allegedly robbed and an employee assaulted by two teenagers.

About 6.45pm on Tuesday two youths went a store on Giles Street where they allegedly assaulted an employee and stole cash from the till.

The offenders are described as a male Aboriginal youth aged 15 to 18 years, wearing a black and white football club singlet, and another male Aboriginal youth aged 13-16 years, wearing black or dark olive hoodie pulled tight around his face.
