International traveller tests positive to Covid-19 at Howard Springs

The NT has recorded its 175th case of Covid-19 linked to interstate travel or international repatriation.

THE NT has recorded its 175th case of Covid-19 linked to interstate travel or international repatriation.

The latest case was detected on Sunday after a 28-year-old man who had arrived on a flight from New Delhi the previous Thursday.

He has mild symptoms and is under the care of NT Health at the Centre for National Resilience in Howard Springs.

Just over 8000 international arrivals have quarantined at the facility since repatriation flights began on October 23 last year

A total of 127 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported from international repatriation and none of the cases detected in the NT have come as a result of community transmission.

There are currently three active cases in the Northern Territory.
