Indian repatriation flight touches down in Darwin

Another round of repatriated Australians have touched down in the Top End and taken to Howard Springs.

ANOTHER round of repatriated Australians have touched down in the Top End.

QF112 touched down in Darwin at 8.55am Sunday, according to FlightRadar24, after an eight-hour flight from Covid-stricken Delhi.

The NT News has not yet been able to confirm the number of passengers aboard the Boeing flight.

Repatriation flights have been flying into the NT since October, as part of a repatriation scheme established by the federal government.

Howard Springs has been expanded to a total capacity of 2000 and handed over to the NT government for day-to-day operation.
