A funeral service will be held in Darwin Baptist Church, corner of Stuart Highway and Ross Smith Avenue, Ludmilla at 1pm Friday 11.4.2025.

A private cremation will follow
PEERZADA, PAULA

A funeral service for Paula will be held in our Resthaven Chapel, 121 Amy Johnson Avenue, Marrara at 3pm Monday 7.4.2025

PIKOS, GEORGE MELETIOS

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Meletios Pikos. Born in Darwin on the 20/3/1961, George passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on the 3/4/2025 at St Vincent’s hospital in Sydney. George was a cherished son, husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend to so many, he positively touched the lives of all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. George is survived by his loving wife Francisca, his beloved children, Meletios, Stratos, Adam, Breah, Nicholas and Dimitra, and was blessed with 15 grandchildren, all of whom he adored. A funeral service will be held at 9:30am on Thursday 10th April at St Nicholas Greek Church in Darwin, and then on to Darwin Cemetery in Jingili where he will be laid to rest.
