House of Darwin and BASSINTHEGRASS have teamed up to deliver a range of merchandise to coincide with the Territory’s largest music festival.
The social enterprise uses money raised from the sale of goods to provide opportunities in remote communities.
House of Darwin owner Shaun Edwards said in June he would be heading to the Tiwi Islands and Warruwi to deliver skateboarding gear and ramps with skate brand Passport.
“So it’s very exciting, and I’m very thankful for the opportunity to be able to do things like that off the back of these partnerships,” he said.

The range of merchandise, including T-shirts, tote bags, hats, face masks and stubby coolers, feature the Territory’s floral emblem, the Sturt’s desert rose, designed by Liam Milner of Luna Tunes.
Major Events Minister Natasha Fyles said the line of merchandise was a great way to collect a memento of the festival while supporting local.
“I look forward to seeing music fans of all ages donning the new threads and BASSINTHEGRASS T-shirts popping up all over the Territory and Australia,” Ms Fyles said.
The line is available from Saturday as well as on the day at BASSINTHEGRASS on May 15.
