A YOUNG girl hit by a minibus in Palmerston was involved in one of six accidents St John Ambulance paramedics attended in the Top End yesterday.
As a result of the crashes five people were taken to Royal Darwin Hospital.
NT John Ambulance operations manager Craig Garraway said there were no serious injuries as a result of the crashes.
He said the young girl was injured at 1pm Wednesday in the suburb of Rosebery when she was hit and run over by the minibus.
“It did run over her leg, only minor … but it could have been a lot worse,” Mr Garraway said.

A driver was taken to hospital after the car they were driving ran into a tree on the Stuart Hwy Pinelands.
“The person sustained a laceration to the head, I believe they may have hit the windscreen, so quite a nasty laceration to the head required us to take them to the hospital where they probably will have some stitches,” he said.
A 52-year-old woman was also taken to Royal Darwin Hospital after falling off am e-scooter around 11pm Wednesday in the CBD.
“The 52-year-old female I believe come off a scooter there, had numerous injuries, scrapes and bruises and maybe a couple of minor broken bones, but taken to hospital and recovering in the Royal Darwin Hospital overnight.
A person was taken to hospital on Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle rear-ended another due to heavy traffic.
Police report one person was taken to RDH by paramedics.
